"Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce have been nothing short of fantastic during the lockdown. They have continued to offer a great support network for businesses in the area as well as being a place to turn to for advice during this uncertain time. The communications, training, events and opportunities that are normally on offer from them have been super charged in both quantity and quality during this period. Both Tracie and Lauren should be really proud of the way that they have represented and delivered all of the above during a really challenging time on behalf of the Chamber. I for one am grateful to be a member of such a supportive organisation." - Emma Waterer, Expert VA Services

"Chichester College Group have been members of Worthing and Adur Chamber for over 10 years. The Chamber provides excellent support for businesses from SME’s through to large corporates. As a College we have attended numerous networking events and always found these to be a great source of business, as well as an opportunity to forge great relationships with different and diverse organisations. I particularly like the opportunity of visiting other organisations to see how they operate, the Ricardo tour recently was an example of this.  The Worthing Chamber is a community of businesses that support each other, there are a number of training opportunities that support this.

The chamber also offers an excellent  opportunity to keep up to date with current and local issues, find out about the local and national grants and changes that affect businesses." - Debbie Ross, Chichester College Group

“From your initial idea of forming a business, meeting other businesses in the community that can help you, sharing your experiences with others in peer mentoring, meeting inspirational people at events, being educated at Wise up talks, through to being acknowledged in the annual business awards. The chamber is the only business networking group that provides you with the support and education that your business needs. I am proud to be an ambassador for this remarkable chamber.” - Patt Fallon, Bald Designs

“When I first started my business two and a half years ago I came across the Worthing and Adur Chamber Hub monthly networking event. After attending for a couple of (free) sessions I decided to become a member and am really pleased that I did. There are a wealth of different companies that are members, there are some fantastic workshops and events covering different aspects of running a business as well as local interest topics and I've found it a great network to belong to as a one woman business. I have both received and passed business within the Chamber and attended many of their varied events. For anyone considering joining I would certainly recommend doing so.”

" With the shock of lockdown and with little experience or knowledge of what was occurring, I was thankful for the constant emails and messages coming from the team at the Chamber.  Despite furloughing two of the team they constantly put out messages of support and interest.  Lauren and Tracie did a fantastic job of pivoting (that now much used word!) the meetings and training.  They are the goddesses of Zoom.  Long may they reign... " - Martin Bloomfield, Seaside Creative

“It was a no brainer to become a chamber member when I started my business. I have received support and advice from the team and from other members. Some have become trusted friends and clients. When you run a small business, you need to have a voice in the local business community. Being a chamber member gives you this and so much more. I see the chamber as an integral part of my business and love being part of an ever evolving, fun, supportive and diverse community.” - Helen Vane, GoGecko

"Worthing and Adur Chamber of Commerce has been a real lifeline for me since I started The Good Therapy Group in 2018. Having been an NHS physiotherapist all my working life, I had no experience of setting up or running a business.  The practical help, knowledge and support I have received from The Chamber over the past 2 years has been invaluable.  When I joined, I signed up for the peer mentoring program and I can safely say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  The program provides you with the knowledge, skills and support to grow your business as well as  the opportunity to be part of a close-knit group of people who are genuinely interested in you, your business and its success. I have made some lifelong friends along the way and always have someone to turn too if I need to seek advice, support or just a listening ear.  The peer mentoring program is a safe place to discuss your business with other like-minded people as well as a place to learn and progress.  I have found it so useful; I am going to continue for another year.  If you are considering it, I would 100% go for it, you will not regret it!" - Sophie RufferThe Good Therapy Group

"Thank you for the continuing information from The Chamber. It really helps small business like us to keep up to date with this changing situation we find ourselves in." - Sussex Communications

“When I decided to start my business, I wanted to be part of a local business group that flowed without too many rules and regulations stopping the enjoyment of networking. I joined the chamber, because like myself it is easy going you can be involved as little or as much as you like. With organised events it is great opportunity to promote your brand and develop connections that naturally create business.”
