By the end of this course, participants will:

• Understand the basic principles of formulas
• Build formulas to add, subtract, divide and multiple
• Calculate totals, balances, percentages, VAT and other common calculations
• Know when to use brackets and $ in formulas
• Use some common built-in functions

What will I get out of it? 

This workshop will give you the techniques to perform calculations on an Excel or Sheets spreadsheet, instead of using a calculator. When data changes, formula results automatically update to help with accuracy and speed of working.
