Garry Ettridge will run through a fast paced guide through the skills and knowledge that anyone new to running their own business needs to be aware of. From understanding the common character traits of successful entrepreneurs through to the mechanics of marketing, the cut and thrust of sales and the conquering of the numbers, this course will not supply all the answers but it will make you ask the right questions.

For further support and practical help on their journey through self-employment delegates will qualify for the peer to peer mentoring scheme that the chamber offers as well as to a discounted package of support via our popular Wiseup2 workshops on many specific business related subjects.

Biography of Garry Ettridge

Garry is an experienced trainer and business consultant whose extensive knowledge is the result of over 35 years of commercial experience. He has worked as a senior executive with an international insurance company as well as running his own businesses. Recently he has also been a commercial manager with a high street bank. This experience gives Garry a unique perspective on this subject which when taken with his innate ability to communicate the potentially complicated subject of running a business makes him an excellent choice of trainer.
