What can Arts do for Business?
We are combining with Ropetackle Arts Centre’s Business Friends for what promises to be fascinating look at the role of the arts in the world of business.
It will also give Chamber members the opportunity to meet Ropetackle’s Business Friends and Sponsors, including Shoreham Port Authority, Gemini Print, DMH Stallard, Basepoint, Oakley Properties and Hyde Housing.
The short presentations from the speakers will offer insights into the different ways in which the arts have made a difference to their organisations, including the opportunity see their names up in lights and to introduce customers, clients and contacts to celebrity performers!
The event also offers the prospect of a fascinating glimpse at what goes on behind the scenes – and possibly of a bit of showbiz gossip!
Panel to include:
Rodney Lunn Chief Executive of Shoreham Port will talk about the Port’s Community Social Responsibility policy and the range of projects supported, as well as the highly productive partnership with Ropetackle.
Suzanne Heaven Marketing Director of Gemini Print Group, will discuss her company’s involvement as print partner with Brighton Festival Fringe, Ropetackle and various other organisations, and the value derived from such relationships.
Martin Allen Chairman of Ropetackle, and former Marketing Partner (now Consultant) with DMH Stallard, will talk about his experience from the point of view of both business and an arts organisation, and the sometimes transformative benefits which can arise.
