Who ever says exhibitions don't work?

Well for Worthing based business Fresh Egg, the Sussex Enterprise Conference last year in Brighton proved to be a very successful one!
James Caan, one of the stars of BBC's Dragons Den, visited the stand of Fresh Egg at the conference, and ended up making a significant investment in the business through his private equity firm Hamilton Bradshaw.
When asked why he had invested in Adam Stafford (MD) and his team at Fresh Egg, James Caan said, "My passion lies in building successful businesses and investing in people rather than just their ideas. Fresh Egg has enormous potential and I look forward to helping the company grow and achieve its ambitions.”

Fresh Egg Adam Stafford, the Managing Director was equally excited, "Having such a dynamic and visionary businessman on board is of huge benefit to the company and we’re looking forward to working with James and learning from his wealth of experience and entrepreneurial spirit. Whatever you talk to him about he will come up with five different suggestions about how to help each time. The experience he has, and the ability to look and things in different ways, is pretty incredible.”

Well done Fresh Egg, and it just shows that even though the recession is taking hold, there are good news business stories out there!!
