The Chamber likes to be one of the first to celebrate the Christmas season at the beginning of December.  This year we had the benefit of the Christmas dinner, a quiz and the use of a games room all held at the Chatsworth Hotel.  We welcomed more than 50 members and guests to get the festive season off to a flying start.

The evening started with our usual informal Chamber Chat, a chance for some networking before dinner.

We were then taken into the dining room and dinner was served, allowing us time to answer the quiz set by our very own quizmaster – on this occasion Tina Tilley. The questions were somewhat challenging if fun – how little we all know about Christmas! It was certainly a great icebreaker for the tables.  The prizes were insignificant and even though this was just for fun the competitive spirit was apparent – well done to everyone.

After an enjoyable meal some socialised in the bar while others took the challenge of the games room playing skittles, pool and darts into the late hours.

Let’s hope we have as much fun throughout 2010 as we did on this evening.
